Sweet Love

The girls continue to adore their new little sister everyday, even though Savannah often says she wanted a little brother! Brianna will one day receive payback from Jenna Leigh for always getting in her face to the point of touching cheeks! :) At times, Jenna Leigh appears to be looking around taking it all in, and probably thinking she is going to have to work hard to get attention with her 2 wild sisters running the show! At night when Savannah and Brianna are in bed, and it's just us with Jenna Leigh, she offers many smiles as if to say, "I'm here too!"

Fun in the Sun

We have tried to enjoy the sun when we can and when we aren't in the middle of what seems like a rainforest! When we arent' at the lake, the girls are playing in the pool enjoying some summer fun!

West Virginia

On Memorial Day Weekend, we traveled to West Virginia for our annual visit with Daddy's family. Grandma and Grandpa, Grandma Tag, Aunt Linda, and cousin Michael all met us there. This was the first time they met Jenna Leigh so it was both to decorate family gravesites as well as "babytime." It was nice to spend the short time we had and introduce our newest angel to them. Cousin Michael was so proud to accompany Grandma and Grandpa so he could see his new cousin!

Family Visit

A few weeks ago we were so happy to have GREAT Aunt Joan, Aunt Jean, and Grandma and Grandaddy visit us from South Carolina. This was the first time they met Jenna Leigh in person so it was bittersweet! We hope to see them again soon, but this time in SC where Grandma can "paint" us as Savannah tells me!

first boat ride at 3 wks old!

Our Newest Addition is quite the character with a personality all her own..I wished for a lazy baby and well that's what I got! Although she doesn't sleep well at night (only 3-4 hrs at a time) she does take many naps. I"m still hoping one day in the near future it will "click" for her to sleep longer at night..mommy would be ever so grateful! She is adored by her big sisters and has become Savannah's best friend! She can quite her down with a simple nursery rhyme and Jenna Leigh loves to sit on Savannah's lap. Brianna is even becoming a little mommy, telling Jenna Leigh "it's ok baby" when she cries! What fun years we have ahead of us! :)

Happy Birthday Brianna!

On May 15, Brianna turned 2! She still says she is one, but she definitely resembles a two yr old with her ornary ways! :) She enjoyed her blue flower cake custome made by mommy which she requested all her own..BLUE is her favorite color! WE celebrated her birthday the day before because Daddy was off, so she enjoyed icing a cupcake on her real birthday as it too was blue!

First Photo Shoot

Mommy attempted her first "photo shoot" with all three and now knows why she's not a professional photographer. She woke up Jenna Leigh from a long nap, postponed supper for the older 2, and had to change a diaper and do potty time before we actually got some good shots.
