Boating Gals who dig for worms!

We all were spoiled with the one day of summer weather. We decided to make the most of it, and we took our boat out, then came home to "dig for worms" where daddy dug up a dead plant. This is Savannah's FAVORITE hobby when it comes time to till the garden and plant flowers! Of course when she's done, she wants her hands washed off because they are dirty!

Fun Day at the Museum

We went to the Children's Museum on a rainy day for something to do. We all have gotten stir crazy being stuck inside. My girls are outside babes and it's like a prison being stuck in the house! Brianna LOVED it as this was her first trip and all they talked about was when we could come back and show daddy everything! Savannah didn't want to leave the lifesize dollhouse where there were babies for her to take care of. Brianna was more for playing in the kitchen and emptying drawers.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

You never realize just how hard it is to be surrounded by women until it comes time to make a birthday cake..Daddy wanted red velvet cake, and well since mommy wanted to be creative, she tried to make the icing red also and it didn't work so well..SO it was PINK.. To combat this feminine look, I added chocolate sprinkles..pink and brown are the "in" colors these days anyways. Just to prove daddy's good sportsmanship he also agreed to wear a my little pony birthday hat as this was Savannah's request! WE love Daddy!

Enjoying a Day outside ATLAST!

After days of sickness that we all were a victim to, we were finally able to enjoy the break in weather temp and play outside. The girls were thrilled..Poor Brianna, we did this while she was taking a nap! Savannah the daredevil found amusement jumping over the ball and landing with no foam pit, mat, or soft landing pad..Such a tough gal!! The video shows her full enjoyment of her new discovered "talent!"

The true love of winter time brings wishes of building a snowman..here in Campbell County we've not been so lucky..My children wanted to go outside anyway even though the snow was practically all gone.
