We went to Calhoun's to watch a wakeboarding competition and Brianna decided to get the perfect view by laying on the floor after taking a break from coloring. Savannah didn't want to miss the chance to get her picture taken too, so she followed suit!

Fourth of July/Cousin Mary's Birthday Party

We had so much fun seeing our cousin Mary who has just moved to TN! We won't have to wait so long to see her now that she is in the south for good! Mommy made her hello kitty cake and had to tell everyone what the hairbow was made of ( a tortilla shell and a vanilla wafer) just to show her creativity! Savannah loved Grandma painting "on her" and showing Mary the fireworks, while Brianna used more attainable things such as grass to entertain her cousin that is 1yr younger, yet a pound heavier! Gotta love those puffy cheeks and cute thigh fat rolls!

Happy Fathers Day Daddy!

The girls were thrilled when I told them that they were going to paint Daddy's shirt which reads "3 reasons to be a daddy," with their pictures below. On the back are their footprints with things they enjoy doing with Daddy. The cake was perhaps the most fun as I let them decorate it to their liking. What's better than a red velvet cake with orange icing and marshmellows, chocolate chips and sprinkles? Priceless!

Sweet Love

The girls continue to adore their new little sister everyday, even though Savannah often says she wanted a little brother! Brianna will one day receive payback from Jenna Leigh for always getting in her face to the point of touching cheeks! :) At times, Jenna Leigh appears to be looking around taking it all in, and probably thinking she is going to have to work hard to get attention with her 2 wild sisters running the show! At night when Savannah and Brianna are in bed, and it's just us with Jenna Leigh, she offers many smiles as if to say, "I'm here too!"

Fun in the Sun

We have tried to enjoy the sun when we can and when we aren't in the middle of what seems like a rainforest! When we arent' at the lake, the girls are playing in the pool enjoying some summer fun!

West Virginia

On Memorial Day Weekend, we traveled to West Virginia for our annual visit with Daddy's family. Grandma and Grandpa, Grandma Tag, Aunt Linda, and cousin Michael all met us there. This was the first time they met Jenna Leigh so it was both to decorate family gravesites as well as "babytime." It was nice to spend the short time we had and introduce our newest angel to them. Cousin Michael was so proud to accompany Grandma and Grandpa so he could see his new cousin!

Family Visit

A few weeks ago we were so happy to have GREAT Aunt Joan, Aunt Jean, and Grandma and Grandaddy visit us from South Carolina. This was the first time they met Jenna Leigh in person so it was bittersweet! We hope to see them again soon, but this time in SC where Grandma can "paint" us as Savannah tells me!
